Harrison Mills Observations 2016

This is an emergency back-up for keeping notes when the HWF forum is down. I'm afraid you can't attach pictures here - but will be able to add them once the forum is back and we've posted a summary of what happened while it was down.
And I'm very much hoping we won't need to use this - but setting it up just in case.

Thank you Judy for setting this up..
I also Dad in with a stick at 9:15am, he placed it and tried out the nest bowl
then he stood up and looked around and left at 9:19am ..

Other adult coming and going (and being blown around a bit - very windy) - guessing that's Dad putting the finishing touches on the nest.

I was watching but not able to post,, so here are my observations
9:51a
Mom in the nest ..
9:53am
Dad arrived with a stick.,.
10:01.Mom to BSB.. can hear her screeching up there
10:02..Dad left
10:06 - 10:10 am Dad is back and does some nest work.. he left and came right back at
10:11 and i didn't see what he had this, but he did some nest work and left at 10:14am
10:39am..
Mom is on her perch out front,.. it is very windy...
10:53am
Nest is empty...Mom is still on her perch out front..

Time Line for 2013-2015
2013
Egg #1 laid April 4..at 8:24pm.... ......... Egg # 2 laid April 8 at 7:44pm
Egg # 1 Hatched May 10 at 6:07pm ...# 2 May 14...at 2:52pm ...both at 36 days.. Interesting to note that Dad was on the nest for both hatches !
2014
One egg.....laid April 4 at 8:48pm ....... No Hatch
2015
This was the year Mom and Dad didn't take a Winer Break ?? Did that have something to do with the earlier laying of their eggs ?.
Egg # 1 March 24. at 8:58pm .........Egg #2 March 28 at 6:09pm
Egg # 1 hatched April 29 at 4:10pm ( 36days.)......Egg # 2 May 3. at 2:34am (36days )[/b]

Mom on her perch out from.... nest is empty..... all is quiet except for the wind and the workers on Pretty Estates

Hello Bev, just trying things out....been awhile since I was here last
Ummm, for some reason I am not getting the Wildearth cams .....not sure why....
but wanted to give you my thanks Bev and JudyB for this set up/back up and all the updates
from this morning! Great to know that Mom and Dad are busy and around the nest and in their "zone"
will keep trying to get them streaming....
added --- figured it out! Whew! 11:18 am Mom still on her perch
