12:51 pm
Ken has had to take the HWF server offline for an hour or so.
12:51 pm
Adult is on the nest incubating - not sure who. Mom was there the last I knew, but there may have been a switch since then.
1:07 pm
Adult up moving around on nest; did not see any unsteadiness so may be Dad. Then adult flew off.
1:12 pm
Adult back - seeing her move towards the eggs, I think it's Mom - and she is moving quite well. This makes me think it may have been Mom who left 5 minutes ago. She paused over the eggs for a moment and was nestled in by 1:14 pm.

The forum is up, and I've posted my observations above on the thread at HWF.
Not sure if it will stay up - Ken may be doing this in stages.

Yesterday April 29 the HWF was down.
I opened the cams at 7:45 to find Pa dozing on the nest, an adult on the hydro tower.
8:53 Pa flies off the nest, adult is still on the hydro tower.
9:14 Nest is still empty, 2 adults noticed on the hydro tower. (likely Pa and Ma)
9:22 Both adults fly off the tower.
9:30 Pa quietly lands on the nest and resettles onto the eggs. Eggs alone 43 min.
9:36 I came into the room to find an adult back on the tower, Pa still on the nest.
10:02 Pa leaves the nest again.
10:03 Likely Pa who lands on the hydro tower with Ma.
10:13 I came back into the room to find both adults off the tower and no one on the eggs. Both eggs remain in the nest.
10:21 I'm out again, no eagles seen on nest or tower.
11:20 Pa's on the nest, no one on the tower. He rolls 1 egg and resettles.
3:15 Pa's brooding.
6:52 Pa's brooding.

Thurs April 30
7:45 Eggs are bare.
8:07 Pa lands and settles.
8:49 Pa leaves the nest. I left the room and returned at 8:59 to find Pa back on the eggs.
9:04-9:45 Pa's off the eggs, returns to brooding with no egg roll.
9:45 I'm out for part of the day.

Thanks so much for keeping an eye on this pair, Sandra! I'm afraid I haven't looked in for a while - nice to be seeing them, and it is important that they have a presence so other eagles will stay away - but also sad.
3:49 pm
Someone is incubating - probably Dad?

Yes Judy, Pa was on the nest when you happened by. He was gone again 3:59-4:26, 27 min.
4:33 Still brooding.

Eggs are alone
Keeping fingers crossed that our tech folks are making progress, and we'll be back on our home forum soon.
Good night, all.

Good night Judy. It was very astute of you and Sharon to get ready for what proved to be the inevitable with this forum.
6:29 Pa is back to brooding.
6:48 Pa remains on the eggs. The new hatchlings in the nest downstairs are getting stronger in their calls for food. Pa seems to listen sometimes when they start up.

Hi
Sandra,
JudyB was the astute one who started the "temp" forum,
Pat, Judy (jkr) and I went along for the ride (and to help work out a few quirks!) all the while hoping we would never have to use it! A combined effort by all - just in case!
