Hi Bev and all - in on the NPTZ Exciting morning - Haven't had time to look at the vids, Judy, but the scaps are great! And thanks for all the reports this morning Bev, Judy, Michelle, Dan, Sue, Marg and I hope I didn't miss anyone.

Add: Tried your temp cams Judy as WE down - no luck, so I'll just hang around on the NPTZ and report what I see here.... :)

Thanks, Bev and Yolande - I'll send an email to Ken and to Peter at WildEarth - am guessing Ken needs to restart the computer at HM remotely, but am not sure about that. With luck it should be a fairly peaceful time, as the tiny one eats and sleeps.

Mom quietly screeping - windy and getting gusty at the nest. Just reading through all your posts and that's something this chick is really good at already - eating!

AND I just lost the NPTZ - will try to bring it up again....

1:52pm The NPTZ is not coming up - will keep trying - maybe a re-boot is in progress?

1:57pm Still no NPTZ - tried the SPTZ - same....anyone else having this problem?

I can get to the cam control page - but no active video screen

I hope so, Yolande, but I think North went down before I clicked Send, so I'm guessing it's an issue in the area. I checked the power outages map and nothing is showing, but it takes a little while for that to update. And it's definitely windy enough that a branch could have come down on a power line somewhere in the area.

I'm in North - and cam is moving, I think independently of what I'm doing - are you in again?

It zoomed way in, and I've pulled it back again.

The viewing window was slow opening for me, but I'm seeing the nest - caught tail end of another feeding.

Maybe reboot your computer, if you're where you can do that.

Cam was moving, so I'm out - can't do more than a quick check while I'm at work unless it's urgent.

THX Judy - I can get to the cam control page, but I have no active video screen -but now I can get the SPTZ so maybe the NPTZ will come up next try...

Yay! Back on...at 2:06pm

Mom is just settling herself on the chick and egg and pulling some moss in closer - too bad, I think I missed the chick while the cam was down...but I'm sure we'll get to see it again soon :)

2:12pm Just zoomed in on the duck and it looks like Mom has eaten more of it - a lot of the head is gone...

Excellent, Yolande! I am out again.

I'm still not having any luck with the embedded cams, but I know when I rebooted the cams at Delta 3, it took a while for the embedded version to know it was back - so keeping fingers crossed. And I did send a note to Ken and Peter about that.

Time for me to head for home - will check in again once I get there and feed the cats. :cat:

Added -
There was a feeding winding down while I was on the NPTZ - no notes or s'caps because I was focused on the cam and typing. It does seem that the tiny one is getting lots of little meals today, so I suspect there will be another one very soon.

Looking in the nest for the fish - gone, but there is still quite a lot of mangled duck there...

Mom on the egg and chick and looking around...screeping softly...I didn't hear an answer from Dad, but he usually just shows up quietly....

2:23pm Mom now calling more insistently! And peering around very intently...

2:29pm Mom still peering around and throwing her head back to call very loudly....
