HWF Forum Updates
Re: HWF Forum Updates
HI Bev, Judy and Darlene,
Thank you for all your information, Judy. It sounds like this all will just take a little time to resolve itself. I would be happy to take a zoom on one of the cams but not sure how to know if one of you has it signed out. I assume I can't post pictures but just summarize what is happening.
Thanks, Gail

Hi Gail! For Harrison Mills, Bev, Darlene and I have been posting on the observations thread here when we're signing into one of the cams - and we'd love to have you join us - viewtopic.php?p=904#p904

Re: HWF Forum Updates
Thanks Judy for the update. Computer systems can be so frustrating sometimes and I’m sure Ken is working nonstop to get HWF up and running again. I really appreciate all that you, Bev, and Darlene are doing to keep us eagleholics apprised of all the happenings at Harrison Mills. Such a busy time for all those eagles on the flats and in all the trees. I’m just learning all the geographical landmarks so not having forums and cam access is hard. I really appreciate you telling me about this temporary web page so I can check the cams and updates periodically. I can’t wait until HWF goes online again. Thanks again.

Whoops, sorry. I didn’t mean to submit twice.

Thanks gemini for fixing. Was trying to edit and preview and when I looked back, I had submitted it twice. Grrrrr

It looks as if all the direct access pages that zoomers use to control the various cams are now offline. I suspect they are on a separate partition on the same server as the primary Hancock Wildlife website, which has been down since October 31, and it's possible that the team that is working on the server issues has reached that part of the server. It's still early in BC, so I've sent an email to Ken asking if he knows if this is a short-term thing (perhaps while the files are moved to a different server) - or if they will now be down until the whole site comes back up. I'll let you know when I hear back from him.

You're welcome, Bev! I've talked with Ken, and we should have a work-around later today - stay tuned!
