I added a brief slow motion video of the shell moving to my previous post.

And I need to head for home - will check in once I get there (and feed the cats).

Made it back again.....oh my goodness, so wonderful to see the progress of the wee one. Hard at work and I heard lots of peeping, just now! 3:06pm

last few minutes Dad continues to get up several times, but staying very close to the eggs...also hearing, must be Mom fairly nearby...calls from time to time...Dad snaps at the flies nearby on the prey

Welcome back MIchelle.......and happy you are here ........i also hear Mom.......? perched above the nest........... and i keep remembering Dad was on the nest in 2013 when the chicks hatched...........

Mom dropped down from above,,,,,,, DAD is off the nest..........WOW WOW! chick is almost out of the shell.. :D shell is almost split in two........awesome zooming.. :clap: :clap:
i have some awesome scaps and i hope Judy B is getting a video \

I was here watching Dad squirm and squirm....but only now when Mom came back to the nest finally did he completely give us a full view, as Mom took over.....

Soooooo happy!!!!
