Harrison Mills Observations

This is a place to keep notes about what's happening at White Rock, Delta 2, Harrison Mills and Lafarge while we wait for the Hancock Wildlife site to be back on line.

Would you like the South cam, Darlene - you know the area better than I do.
You are doing great on south Judy! Just let me know if you have to leave.

I love having the youtube feature of looking back. On the south cam I saw her fly up to a tree behind the nest and then another eagle joined her.

Thanks, Darlene.

Mom just flew off. I was able to follow her a ways but then she went behind some trees.

Heard trills - not sure if one or more eagles.

Bev checked Mom's perch by the river and no one is there. And no one is on the Mom and Dad perch (horizontal branch among the trees where one or both sometimes sit).

Did you see a band, Bev? She was acting like Mom and I didn't see anything to say otherwise - just wanted to know if it was confirmed.

I forgot about that, Darlene! Let me see if I can find them there....

Or do you want to take the cam as you know where to look? Happy to let you take over, and I do need to do some shopping at some point.

I am working on a video but would love to take the cam just to show you where she went and was joined by the other eagle. You can't see the treetop she flew to because the nest tree branches were in the way.
