'Mom throws her head back calling..she is at top of nest and we see a feeding

Mom feeding the chick - duck I think as it's quite red and there is a spot of 'duck flesh' that has dropped onto the chick - Mom tried to get it but it's too small...

ADD: I got a good close-up of the egg as did Bev and I don't see anything there yet...

THat duck is the meal that never ends.LOL.. chick had another good feeding from it......... i zoomed in the egg and so did you Yolande and again it looked intact on that view......Mom tucked tucked in the chick and i didn't see an egg roll but i could have missed that.

The wee one is active under Mom..she is a feisty little one....LOL

Mom is re-settling herself in the nest bowl and peering around - quiet though....

Mom called.. i am zooming out front....Yolande has the S Cam on the nest

She is off the egg and chick..and throws her heard back calling,and is now feeding the chick.. the little one is using the egg for a bum rest.. she had another good feeding of duck......... and i am sure Mom was telling Dad that he needs to bring more food to the nest..Mom settled on the chick and egg..
Did anyone else see Dad flying towards the nest when is was zooming ? or am i seeing things ?

I saw Dad flying toward the nest when you were zooming, Bev - didn't come to the nest and Mom now feeding the chick some more duck...at 9:10am

9:14am That was a nice little feed and Mom has settled back on the egg and chick...

I added a picture and video from the feeding at 7:40 am on the previous page, and here's a picture of the chick and egg from about 8:23 am



The video looks a bit fuzzy because it's from the south cam, and the branch was sort of in the way.

Mom is quiet.it looks overcast out front..about 1mm of rain expected and then we will have a few sunny days
