Harrison Mills Observations

This is a place to keep notes about what's happening at White Rock, Delta 2, Harrison Mills and Lafarge while we wait for the Hancock Wildlife site to be back on line.

Darlene, I hope you had a good day and enjoyed the boat tour!
Are you staying someplace in the area or driving home and back tomorrow?

Heather, thanks for the info about the "SassePhoto" Youtube site.
I checked out the one broadcast mentioned and have bookmarked the page so I can easily get to it again.

Judy, thanks for the link to David Hancock's talk on YouTube - I watched some of it and will have to go back and see the rest of it.

It's great to see all the eagles in the trees on the south cam.
The weather didn't look too bad when I was watching.

Hope you all have a great day at the festival again tomorrow.

Hi everyone! It's always amazing to see how many eagles are in the trees here at night!

It must be nice for the fledglings to have so many adults around to observe, and enough food that they don't have to try to challenge the adults for it (though I expect they do challenge the adults sometimes - but because there's enough food, the adults aren't likely to put up more than a token resistance).

You are welcome Anne, It was a shock when I got the notification because the live broadcast started right away. Generally Christian announces prior to his live broadcasts and then I was thinking holy smokes, I have to share this info he is at HM. My brain was tripping over itself.

Hi Bev I watched the juvie take that spot on the stacking tree lol and the eagles sure are settling in for the night and just now that one that flew right past the cam .
