Harrison Mills Observations

This is a place to keep notes about what's happening at White Rock, Delta 2, Harrison Mills and Lafarge while we wait for the Hancock Wildlife site to be back on line.

1:25 There is an eagle in one of Pa's treetops by the river. The juvie has gone from the corner tree across from the nest unless its just blending in well.

From the north cam there is an adult in a tree almost right behind the nest. Is that you Ma? Too misty to tell. I have to go out for a bit so out of the north cam.

2:25pm - I will take a look around on the North cam. Sorry I missed you Bev and Darlene.

2:55pm - 2 nice juvies on the stacking tree and several adults in trees near the lone tree. Lots of eagles on the flats.

3:pm - Now there are 3 juvies on the stacking tree and still lots of eagles on the flats.

3:11pm - I will leave cam on the juvies and the flats while I eat dinner - be back shortly but please move cam if you like!

3:45pm - An eagle is perched in tree to right of lone tree. I hear eagles chirping but am not sure which direction the calls are coming from.

3:48pm - Two eagles on the lone tree - one may be a juvie.

I count at least 15 eagles in the area of the lone tree.

4:pm - The eagle convention seems to have moved from the stacking tree area to the lone tree area! Lots of them there now and several on the lone tree with many flying in and out. I need to sign off for now. Great to see so many eagles at HM! They seem to be having a very good time and am sure they are eating all the salmon they can find.
