This is a place to keep notes about what's happening at White Rock, Delta 2, Harrison Mills and Lafarge while we wait for the Hancock Wildlife site to be back on line.

Mom perched on branch next to nest (Bev - is there a picture in the opening posts saying which branch is which - I am forgetting what this one is called, but it's the little one where the chicks learn to branch).

Dad (or someone) came in - didn't catch all the action, but it looked as if she flapped at him. She did a bit of calling, and he flew off. I'm guessing it's Dad, and she's pointing out he's supposed to be bringing her lunch.

Hmm - South zoomer just took a close look at the adult perched by the nest - I couldn't tell if there was a dark area on one of the feathers (Dad) or a bit of shadow (Mom).

Adult back on the nest moving a stick. Pretty sure it's Dad.
Forum very slow

11:25 am
Dad continues to move sticks around - maybe putting it on top of the little branch will work!
Forum is down; I've emailed Ken.

WE are still off line... and No Judy there isn't but all the branches are shown in the presets on both zoomed cams and i have been meaning to do a diagram for the opening post and i hope to do that...
I did a videomark and sent it to you ... maybe that was the action you saw...

11:19am..Dad in with another stick.... he placed it and left

12:19pm.. I don't think the eagles visited the nest since you saw Dad Judy at 11:25

Thanks, Bev - that is what I saw! And don't worry about the diagram - I'll get them sorted out eventually.

Embedded cams are freezing frequently so I may be missing some of what happens - don't always notice as I am busy with work on most of my screen. :hiding:
