Hi Christine and Bev, nice to see you here! :D I love your hawk story Christine! 9:54 One eagle is back on our left end of the SA. I also think I am spying one on the DE. And that's all for now Folks! I'll grab my camera, visit some local nests while out and about today. Sun is shining, temp may hit...

Re: Lafarge Observations
Good Day here! We had an eagle on the AN when I first arrived but now at 8:20 it is gone. There is now one on the SA.
8:24 Our eagle on the SA is on the tower like structure on our left, calling out to gulls as they fly by!
8:33 And it's gone, not to be found by the cam.

Re: Lafarge Observations
8:40 Starting my day with Lady on the SA and Pa looking to have just finished a meal in the AN. Wiping his beak on the nest rim, a few crows in accompaniment.
8:47 The cam has just swung back to show us Pa up on the AN rail now, Lady still on the SA.

Re: Harrison Mills Observations
4:48 Calling by 2 eagles, somewhat distant. I followed the cam search by someone to see an eagle in a colourful tree near the flats. At 4:49 a second eagle flew in and the first immediately left. Cam search found a second eagle perched in another tree.

Re: Lafarge Observations
I had the same problem with the cam this morning Sharon so hopped over to Harrison for a while.
Nov 8 The cam was more cooperative this morning. I had it open for over half an hour during which time Lady was perched on the AN. No sign of Pa.

10:37 Eagle sounds close with answering a bit farther away. Not alarming this time.
10:38 A short call farther away this time. Wind is picking up with gusts loud in the mic.
10:39 Calling back and forth farther away.

Re: Lafarge Observations
Thank you for the guidance of only posting unusual pics here Judy. I know the SA is routine on cam but finding an eagle there is unusual as I did at 11:14 today. Also one on the AN rim. Beautiful sunny day there. They can come out of their hidey holes needed the past 2 days with cold temps and wet s...

Re: Lafarge Observations 2015
Hi Sharon! I have the cam up now without seeing any eagles It is very foggy, windy. About the only perching spot we watch that I can actually see is the AN, without eagles. It's the kind of day for them to find a protected hidey hole.
