Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015

1:05 pm I just lost both embedded cams on my website - tried Delta 3 and am not getting that either, which makes me think this might be a WildEarth reboot in progress. Except that Delta 3 took a long time, but did come up. As did White Rock CU. Are the direct access/zoomer cams still working? Very w...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015

I saw the most recent feeding starting, but I had to leave so didn't get to watch or do a video. I did notice one of the cams stopped briefly during the previous feeding, so perhaps that's why there was a pause in the videomark, Bev. This is indeed just day 33 for the second egg, so the earliest it ...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015

10:57 am Just watched another nice feeding - hard to believe the little one isn't even a day old yet - he or she was right up there grabbing the food being offered and peeping away. No video this time, I'm afraid - doing other things. And  to the South zoomer - amazing job of getting...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015

Videos to go with first feeding: Part one of the first feeding for a 16-hour-old eaglet. Watch how the adult gently taps the beak of the chick to see if the chick is ready for food - and how the chick responds by lunging at the beak of the adult to grab what's there - wow! (5 minutes) http://www.you...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015

8:05 am First feeding for the tiny chick - two videos coming when I have a chance to process them. It was really amazing to watch the adult gently touching the tiny one's beak - and to see the tiny one say "oh - I have to open my beak now!" - great job, zoomers! http://i183.photobucket.com...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015

from about 6:30 am - I was too busy watching the chick to know if there was a switch in adults. Chick looked very strong - hard to imagine s/he is only 14 hours old! This is a 90 second video of the chick - there's sound, and the wind is quite loud, as is a call by the adult. https://www.youtube.com...

Re: Welcome Hancock Wildlife Forum Members

Thursday, April 30 Good morning, everyone! The Hancock Wildlife Foundation forum was down most of the day yesterday, and is still down this morning. The Harrison Mills core observer team has been using this site to document yesterday's hatch, and observers for the other HWF cams are welcome to do t...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015

Thanks, Dan - you're a better zoomer, and I have other things I should be doing - like sharing our exciting news on Facebook!

Michelle, try the links to my judyb-eagles pages that I've added to the first post - they've been working well for me, and there's no problem with a few of us using them.
