Re: Welcome Hancock Wildlife Forum Members
Friday, May 1, 2015 The Harrison Mills embedded cams are down - I'm guessing Ken will need to work some magic before they can be streamed; the PTZ cams are working, and we'll be posting updates as much as possible. There were issues with viewing the cams via WildEarth yesterday, and those seem to b...

Re: Delta2 Observations 2015
Friday, May 1, 2015 2:14 am No one was on the nest when I checked around 12:30 am, and the eggs were also alone as of a few minutes ago - and I just looked up to see someone on the nest settling in to incubate. I didn't see enough movement to be sure who it is. She(?) quickly tucked her head under ...

Eggs are alone
Keeping fingers crossed that our tech folks are making progress, and we'll be back on our home forum soon.
Good night, all.

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015
Hi everyone - I also can't get the cams.
Today is only day 33, and I think I can only remember once when an egg might have hatched before Day 35, so I'm guessing we won't see any preliminary cracking until tomorrow at the earliest. But only the egg knows for sure.

Re: Delta2 Observations 2015
Thanks so much for keeping an eye on this pair, Sandra! I'm afraid I haven't looked in for a while - nice to be seeing them, and it is important that they have a presence so other eagles will stay away - but also sad.

Someone is incubating - probably Dad?

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015
Excellent, Yolande! I am out again. I'm still not having any luck with the embedded cams, but I know when I rebooted the cams at Delta 3, it took a while for the embedded version to know it was back - so keeping fingers crossed. And I did send a note to Ken and Peter about that. Time for me to head ...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015
I'm in North - and cam is moving, I think independently of what I'm doing - are you in again? It zoomed way in, and I've pulled it back again. 1:52pm I can get to the cam control page - but no active video screen The viewing window was slow opening for me, but I'm seeing the nest - caught tail end o...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015
1:52pm The NPTZ is not coming up - will keep trying - maybe a re-boot is in progress? 1:57pm Still no NPTZ - tried the SPTZ - same....anyone else having this problem? I hope so, Yolande, but I think North went down before I clicked Send, so I'm guessing it's an issue in the area. I checked the powe...

Re: Harrison Mills Observations 2015
Thanks, Bev and Yolande - I'll send an email to Ken and to Peter at WildEarth - am guessing Ken needs to restart the computer at HM remotely, but am not sure about that. With luck it should be a fairly peaceful time, as the tiny one eats and sleeps.

Re: White Rock Observations 2015
Thursday, April 30 1:25 pm Taking a quick look, and I'm seeing a feeding. Not sure who is who, but one was up first and is getting fed first - and now the second is up as well. And now a bite or two for the smaller one, who is in back. Looks like a nice, peaceful feeding - just what I like to see. ...
